Stephen Kuwent, Psy.D.
Dr. Steve became the Director of Holmstead School in July of 2019 after a 25 year career in public education as a School Psychologist and Coordinator of a Child Study Team. Dr. Steve obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and his Doctorate in Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Steve also maintains a private practice and has been providing psychotherapeutic services in the community for over 25 years.
Brett Vargo
Prior to being named Holmstead School Principal in 2018, Brett served as one of the school’s history and financial literacy teachers. He received his BA in History from Desales University (2003), Subject Teacher Endorsement from William Paterson University (2006), Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement from Rutgers University (2011), and his MA in Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University (2015).
Elizabeth Bonino
Elizabeth received her MA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a NJ certified Learning Disabilities-Teacher Consultant and Teacher of the Handicapped.
