Dr. Laryssa Patti, MD FACEP, is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS). She was part of the RWJMS Joint BA/MD program, and graduated from Rutgers summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics in 2010 and with a medical degree in 2013. She completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at RWJMS in 2016, where she was the chief resident during her senior year. She is currently the RWJMS Emergency Medicine Clerkship Director, facilitator for Physicianship for first-and-second-year medical students, and advisor for emergency medicine bound medical students. Today’s presentation focused primarily on the dangers of vaping and other drug use. Student were very engaged and had many questions to ask Dr. Patti who did an excellent job at providing very useful information.
